dr-idolDr. Idol was born in Belleville, IL. He moved to Maryland in 1968.  He grew up in Calvert County and after graduating from Northern High School, he went on to college and graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Biochemistry, in 1983. He attended the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1987. He completed his Surgical Residency at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV in 1988.
Dr. Idol joined Family Foot Care of Southern Maryland in 1988.  He has 4 offices in southern Maryland, and he is also on Active staff at Calvert Memorial Hospital and Active Staff at Calvert Ambulatory Foot Surgery Center.  He is a consultant and speaks to groups and organizations in Southern Maryland.

dr-olkabaDr. Judith Olkaba is a podiatric surgeon with extensive training in foot and ankle pathology as well as elective and reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Olkaba is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., which is a large Level-1 trauma center with a three-year podiatric surgical residency.  She received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, management of trauma, diabetic limb salvage, elective forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, management of a large in-house patient population with an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.  As part of her training, Dr. Olkaba spent some time at Georgetown University Hospital Wound Healing Center focusing on limb salvage. Dr. Olkaba is very passionate about patient education and encourages her patients to take an active role in their treatment.
Dr. Olkaba joined Southern Maryland Foot Care Center in 2009.  She is on consulting staff at Calvert Memorial Hospital and active staff at Calvert Ambulatory Foot Surgery Center.
